![]() The problem is, he himself is considered a scoundrel and his motives for running are questionable. The prosecutors are just presenting their case the way they would if it was real, and they're reacting to Tim's improvisation the way they actually would if it was real.“We Have a Rat Problem” - that’s Tim Heidecker’s slogan as he campaigns for San Bernardino, California’s District Attorney in the trailer for the upcoming political mockumentary, Mister America. It seems like they're approaching this like a real court case without an actual word-for-word script. I'm sure the judge and the other prosecutor have legal backgrounds too. The Dwyer guy is a legal mediator, and the lady is an actor who went to Harvard law school, though I don't know if she ever passed the Bar. People on /r/timanderic have done some digging and found out that the people playing Dwyer (Tim's attorney) and the woman prosecutor both have legal backgrounds. The judge and lawyers are so natural I'm not sure they aren't actually the real deal This is a running joke that's been going for 6 years and it's about to payoff. I can't wait for Tim to prove tonight in a court of law that Gregg does not know which Star Trek movie is the one that takes place in San Francisco. I never thought they'd be able to top the 3rd Oscar Special with James Dean, but this trial is probably the pinnacle of what Tim and Gregg have done on this project. It is so fucking amazing and we are lucky to be able to see it. On Cinema is probably my favorite comedy thing of the last 5 years (the only things I can think of that come even close are Review, Nathan For You, and The Eric Andre Show, all of which are produced by Tim Heidecker's studio). If you have a spare couple dozen hours (each episode is only ~10 min) it's all available in this handy playlist: I know its not Earwolf, but I just need to talk to someone about this.Īlso, if you are at all a fan of Tim and his work, and have not got into it already, On Cinema is mandatory. I encourage everyone to watch some of it because it kind of defies explanation. The judge and lawyers are so natural I'm not sure they aren't actually the real deal. I honestly have no idea how they have managed to pull it off. The trial is an insane culmination of all of that. For nine seasons, On Cinema has done some of the best world-building and character development I've seen, in not only a web series, but in comedy period. The murder trial is the realization of a plotline from On Cinema, the web series on Adult Swim's website, and it is one of the most impressive commitments to a bit I have ever seen. ![]() Screw It We're Just Gonna Talk About The Beatlesįor those who are unaware, for the past several nights, Adult Swim has been live streaming a murder trail for Tim Heidecker (its pre-taped but they're streaming it out).Click here for a full list of Earwolf showsĪs well as the current popular Earwolf shows, we also would like to highlight some of the Archived Earwolf shows, and the most popular non-earwolf shows /r/Earwolf enjoys!.Want to listen to Stitcher Premium podcasts on your favorite podcast app instead of the official app?
